The safe swimming makes it family friendly and village has enough activities to occupy teenagers and couples. An excellent mixture of shops and restaurants backs the beach and the sea front has many cafes and taverna’s to relax in and enjoy the local culinary treats. The beach is never more than 5 minutes walk away. The majority of accommodation is small Greek homes, apartments and studios just a few minutes walk from the beach. There is an excellent choice of eateries both on the beach and within the winding lanes that lead up into the village. The local bus runs between Agios Gordis and Corfu Town throughout the day and is also convenient for accessing the nearby traditional village of Sinarades.
